Pool Reopening

Returned to my pool this afternoon after the two week closure for maintenance works. The wooden beams that support the roof have been strengthened and the walls repainted.

Just one other swimmer in the adult lane as I joined in the last 30 mins of the day. Enjoyed a good stretch and had a few extra minutes in the water helping the lifeguards unhook lane dividers and recover inflatables after the splash session.

Wet and windy day as Storm Bert gains strength. My bro in law sent a video of the waves crashing on the rocks on his walk this morning down on the Sussex coast. I could quite easily have stayed indoors but was keen to swim.
