Where's Geppetto? Nobody knows...

This sits at the corner of Queensferry Street and Charlotte Lane and many years ago housed Welch the Fishmongers. The jeweller, James Ness and Son still trade. What I find interesting about this is the faux continental look of the fake venetian shutters in the middle of Edinburgh's West End. Certainly it seems to be part of a 'little Italy' quarter with so many Italian restaurants around it you can barely shake a stick et them.
