Storm Bert

Yesterday morning Storm Bert hauled in a blizzard from the east to cover the city in a layer of snow. A headache for some, a lot of fun for others. People got to work during and after the storm to build snow sculptures. Sledgers went wheee in the parks. Dogs with zoomies living their best lives. Wide eyed toddlers with runny noses taking it all in. This bin shows the impact of the horizontal blizzard. A short lived winter wonderland and today it’s all gone with temperatures reaching 12 degrees in the city. Going to meet a paI of 30 years whom I haven’t seen for 3 years and glad we had chosen today not yesterday to meet!
