November Dreams: Red on Blue
Friday's snow melted, and morning found me on my bicycle again, trundling up Tow Hill. I stopped to take a picture of some berries against a blue background. The blue is actually a water cistern on the hill that the vultures like to congregate on; I just like to choose my angle so it appears that my background is a blue bruise of a winter sky.
The color show in October was mighty fine this year. The foliage has dropped in most places, though you may still find a standout tree here and there. That sort of color seems like a distant memory. But here we are, celebrating a new November dream: red on blue.
For our soundtrack song, I've picked one of my own favorite berries. Here are the Cranberries, with Dreams.
