If you can't beat them...

Orchid " Cambria hybrid"

A busy day.  I tried a few bird shots but I wasn't happy with any so I have resorted to another Orchid.

I have had this specimen since January 2018.  Cambria Hybrid is a generic term for interspecies crosses.  It would seem a Cambria can be any cross from the following groups odontoglossum, Miltonia, Cochlioda, Brassia and Oncidium.  Cambria Hybrids can have flowers varying in size according to the cross, sizes vary from 10cm down to 1.5cm.  These are roughly 5cm in diameter.

Currently there are 9 flower spikes, some as yet only buds but a quick count suggests a minimum of 50 -55 flowers by the time they have all had their day.
