Golden Glow at Kergord

After a stormy night of rain and gales, it's been a beautiful sunny day, all day and clear tonight.  Still windy and the snow has thawed. 

A lazy Sunday morning, a later than usual breakfast. I finally got out walkies with Sammy.  Kitty has been out most of the day exploring.  Met friend Julie in the afternoon, we headed to Whiteness Hall for Teas and craft fair, then onto Nesting Scrap Store.  Popped by Lerwick for supermarket shopping.  Working in the shop this evening, a busy night of customers.  Feet up now before bed. 

Although it had been a lovely sunny day, it didn't feel much warmer with that wind blowing.  The chilly wind didn't stop the walkies, not much does really.  A quick walk after the Teas, and the low winter sun was disappearing fast behind the hill.  As we walked through the woods, a lovely golden glow came over the trees.  Taken at Kergord, Weisdale.
