There is still a layer of ice under the water ....

...... and this youngster was trying her hardest to break the ice with her stick ..... no success.

I set my alarm for 8 o'clock as I usually do for a Sunday morning. I heard it ring, switched it off and the next thing I knew it was 10.15 and as our church service starts at 10 it was going to be a no show for me today!

I had a brief walk in Maxwell Park before heading for a concert rehearsal in the afternoon. Despite the temperature being 11° it felt bitterly cold and even at the concert tonight I felt the church rather chilly.

Now tucked up in my cosy bed and will catch with your blips tomorrow.
