Bluebottle

There was a huge photo of a bluebottle at Head On. It was in a clear plastic cup of water against a white background and seemed to be floating in space with its tentacles curled below. The ones scattered along the shoreline today were dead, some dried-out and some blown-up but still beautiful.

The mono Monday theme was ‘cherish’ but I couldn’t bring myself to remove the colour.

The first of three warm sunny days in a row.
