Park
Plastic cups have become the theme of the week. I picked one up on the beach today and went in search of a live bluebottle to recreate the bluebottlecup from Head On, but there weren’t any. Northeasterly winds blow them in.
The vacant block is slated for redevelopment - ten storeys of apartments with a supermarket on the ground floor. It was a Caltex service station but has been a cyclone-fenced wasteland for years. Someone has used plastic cups to create a piece of guerrilla art. I think it spells “park”.
An early entry for derelict Sunday.
