Alstroemeria……

The Peruvian Lily….. Alstromeria ….. is growing wild in my garden. It has spread like wildfire and is very pretty although, regretfully, mine is only pink.
It is almost summer here in New Zealand. We had a taste of it in Blenheim today in that the temperature reached 28C in my shady porch. Ironically very early this morning it was very chilly down at the river. I saw a friend wearing gloves and regretted not bringing my own gloves.
I spent the day at home and caught up with some office work and later I did some gardening…. In the shade and wearing a sun hat.
