Vandals

Last night, a bunch of idiots tossed green paint all over the statue in the Lincoln Memorial. Why oh why would anyone think this is a fun or interesting thing to do?

This shot was taken behind the Lincoln. There's this wide set of stairs, which lead down to the Potomac river and a beautiful view of Virginia on the other side.

The stairs have become an exercise facility of sorts. Depending on the time of the day, you can find people doing push-ups, double stepping and jogging up and down the stairs. Gotta admire the energy :)
