Having dug out the old leg warmers I remembered that I'd started knitting a new pair last year - had forgotten that I'd stopped after the first one realising that I didn't have enough wool oddments to do the second to even remotely match up with the first! Have now sent off for a couple more balls which kind of defeats the purpose of using up oddments.......
