Life through the lens...

By ValC

Spot the squirrel.

Sat looking through the window watching the antics of this squirrel.
Immediately took a photo for Blip.
I didn’t know what the theme was for Mono Monday but have tagged it anyhow.

I have also put an extra collage of the Christmas lights in Holt.
Always magical. Photos taken last Wednesday.

Very sorry to learn of the death of Barbara Taylor Bradford at 91.

A Women of Substance, although she wrote 40 novels.
She actually went to the same nursery school as Alan Bennett.
She sold her first story at the age of 12 for 10 shillings and sixpence.
Her first job was at 15. was as a typist on the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Soon promoted to cub reporter.
After marrying  American, Robert Bradford  she moved to New York but never forgot her roots in Leeds.
