Beasts - from the west
Shona and I had a walk to West Hills - the wind was fierce so it seemed the best option. We had a good catch up because she’s been away helping her son and daughter-in-law in London a lot as the young woman has had to have a lot of treatment for a serious hereditary cancer. She has been helping with the young children for months and is exhausted.
We saw these in a field - llama, Alpaca? Lhe wind wasn’t beast from the east - it and these were definitely from the western
I had a good catch up with Jo on FaceTime this afternoon. She’s coming to stay next month and we talked about me getting the train to Penzance at some point - 9 hours!
Then I worked on the Year Book. I’m up to October.
Three nice women I met on the Montenegro/Bosnia trip have been in touch wondering if I would think of joining them for a deal they have found for Bhutan. I’m not sure I could cope with the cold, damp and wet there.
Mr C has put in claims for insurance. Our GP practice says it can’t provide a letter (at our cost) for 8 weeks to confirm Mr C had seen them about his back. Should I volunteer as an office helper?
