Virginia Beach Vacation …

… First full day.

From sunrise (bottom left pic) to sunset (upper right pic) we had a fantastic day here in Virginia Beach.

As we want to make the most of our short time here we were up and out early.  Our first destination was Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge … where we had a lovely time and saw lots of interesting things.

One of the most interesting was a ghost crab … which you can see in the bottom middle picture.  He/she was so very cool!  We also saw lots of gulls and pelicans, too.

After spending several hours here we returned to our resort for supper.  And then drove to First Landing Park for the sunset.  It was beautiful.

Backblipped: November 25 ... and it's about time! But at least it's before December 31st!
