The Digger and Me

The wendy house has arrived. The delivery people do no more than unload it to the pavement so I needed another pair of hands to ferry it to a place where it can sit until Dug completes the construction of the base. So who else to whistle up but Dug, though not long after we’d brought it all in he had to depart in a rush - the wind was doing bad things to a tree he’d just planted at his last job down the coast.
Later, Gladiator II. Och, it’s all right. Plenty slashing chopping and blood  and a particularly ridiculous opening scene where the Romans take a fortified town by sailing their boats head on, right up to the towering walls and then sort of leaping over to them and setting about the defenders. But only an old grump would get grumpy about that sort of thing. The twin Roman Emperors are pretty amusing and villainous. *spoiler alert* They really really do need to get their comeuppance.
