Rainbow

Waiting to head out to the gym this morning, I glanced out of the window and saw this magnificent rainbow. By the time I’d grabbed my phone and run outside, it had faded a bit but you could still see all of it.
It’s been quite an active day today. While Mrs C was in the gym, I went for a run. Not been on one for a while due to my dodgy knee and the even dodgier weather. It was cold today, but quite bright, and my knee hadn’t been giving me any gyp over the past few weeks. The first 4 kilometres went well but then something “pinged” in my knee and I had to drop the pace for the last kilometre. Not a bad time overall though, and the knee stopped aching after I stopped running, so quite pleased really.
This afternoon we tackled one of the big bushes in the front garden (upper left in the photo). It was quite overgrown but there were also a lot of dead bits that needed cutting out. Two hours and one full green bin later, it was done and didn’t look too bad. Though the fact that it was almost dark by then might have helped with that!
After all that exertion, I’m quite happy to do nothing more strenuous tonight than sit in front of the telly and watch the Bake Off final.
