After such a long period of hot weather I'm ready for some rain. When the thunder started at about 19:30 this evening I was convinced that rain would follow shortly. Sadly it didn't.

Instead the rain and more thunder with added lightening came during the night, as it woke me up I was not as pleased for it to arrive as I would have been to see it during daylight hours.
