Early morning.."things can only get better"

I had to get up early yesterday morning to have the car at the garage for its service and MOT by 8 o'clock.  I got there and slight chaos reigned as the forecourt was still locked and nobody could get in.  I abandoned the car on the side and went to get a paper from the supermarket, the till would not read my voucher and the supervisor had not arrived.  Back at the garage l handed in my keys and tried to catch the bus home, l had to get off because l was too early to use my pass and walked home, it was cold ...and so the day went on.   Met up with family in the evening for a birthday celebration, took ages to get to a part  of London l don't know, the traffic was awful.  Aah well, as the song goes "things can only get better"
