Still flowering

I just had to pop over to the allotment yesterday morning to collect some produce. It was mighty cold after a big frost earlier and l was surprised to see some roses still flowering although beginning to look a bit battered.  The rest of the day was spent over a leisurely roast lunch with son number 2 and his wife in a pub.  A cold day.
