The Cat's In The Bag!
It wasn't easy..Maggie had to be pulled out from under my bed..not by me, but my neighbour Elaine. She is my cat-bagger these days...
Maggie has to go to the vet once a month for an arthritis shot and as I am limited to lifting no more than 5 pounds, I need help with that. Maggie herself weighs much more than 5 pounds (!) and add on the carrying case? That puts us way over the limit, so I have to bring in the "big guns"...Elaine is an old hand at cat-capture-and-carry and today she performed like the expert she is.
(for Elaine's cat-release skills ie: The Cat's out of the Bag! - see extra)
Apparently Maggie was very brave and well-behaved at the clinic and received her needle without a whimper. She was a good girl, but there was also bad news...from the vet...for me. Maggie is overweight and it is my fault! I am supposedly a failure as "cat-feeder". I must change my ways and make Maggie stick to her diet! Drat...Sticking to diets has never been my forté...for myself or for my cat! I have never been able to resist those sad-cat-eyes staring at me begging me for food....
So, just what I didn't need..yet another resolution for me to struggle to honour. One more thing for me to try to improve...I have so many to monitor already...But Cat Calorie intake? I don't think my Apple watch has notifications for that one.
