Pink cards

I'm off to work soon. It's still raining. So I've used my morning to continue the Christmas card preparations. I actually finished them. Put all to envelopes and completed with stamps.

My husband is taking his last summer vacation days today and tomorrow. He took the other car to the maintenance and then we went out to eat and to get some groceries. I took advantage and bought some candy for me for work. I really don't like the idea of going to work. I'd rather enjoy some home time, but I know it will be okay once I get there. Then I just work and the hours pass. I just hope I have a coworker and do not have to be alone.

Pink is not very Christmas-y color, but somehow it felt good this year. Some older relatives of my husband has told me that they really enjoy seeing what kind of card I have made each year. It feels good to be appreciated.

I'm planning on gifting my coworkers at our ward too. I will give out homegrown succulents. I'll just add one card for everyone with text something like "Your biggest gift obviously has been working with me, but I'll wish you Merry Christmas with these plants". And then I'll write the names of the recipients to the card. I just hope they get the joke. I'll be working after Christmas for few weeks still.... I still want to leave on good terms.
