Really, it's no wonder we Brits talk about the weather so much....

I woke late to find yesterday's gorgeous sunshine and gentle temperatures replaced by a solid grey blanket of bitter cold and I stayed in bed until nearly lunchtime.  Rufus only had a half hour walk in an almost empty park, sorry laddie, just tooooooo cold. 

At least with such a short day I didn't have much time to kill before Maddy arrived, closely followed by William, to go to meet their Dad/my bro at the Toby Carvery for dinner, using my 50% off voucher !  William and Gareth are both carnivores while Maddy and I had a brimful plate of winter warming veggies.  Yum.
