weather watch

Bright sunshine but rather cold - increasingly so as the day wore on. Ignoring the cold but enjoying the sun, I took Rufus out for an extra long - nearly two hours - walk this afternoon. After the park we went to Brook End Gardens and then along Brook End road where I took today's photograph.  Just a few minutes later Rufus made a new friend with a woofer called Lady, and I fell in to easy conversation with Lady's owner while the two dogs chased each other in circles - and then the four of us walked in the direction of home until we went our separate ways. 

Maddy and bro arrived independently but by happenstance, at exactly the same time, and both stayed for dinner after which we watched "Going In Style" (2017) with Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman -although not sure how much my niece actually saw as she was working on yet another uni assignment that's due tomorrow.  Gen Z seem to be good at multi tasking.

The heavy mist of mid evening had become a hardened frost by 1am - so I'm curious about tomorrow's weather - there's just so much of it these days !  :)
