A Lens on the Landscape
I don't usually see sunrise, but I grabbed this shot even before the Sun had appeared. The Sun rises in a path in front of my study window, through the cycle of the year...
At Midsummer, it is directly in front of me and rises behind my oak tree. At Midwinter it's far to the right, and rises behind my neighbour's apple tree. Druids notice these things... ;-)
The sub theme for Abstract Thursday is gratitude, and I am so grateful for the landscape I inhabit. I'm grateful too for photography and blip, and so I've dropped a virtual lens ball into the image.
Mind you... red sky at dawn...
