Old Chinaman
Cold and dull today - a big change from the last two. Had to defrost the car before Mrs M could go out.
Spent the morning working on my London travels - it very easily becomes obsessive as I investigate the various places that I visited and look into their history. What would we have done before the Internet! I found it very hard to describe the walk through Canary Wharf - I must go back one day with more time and a detailed map!
After lunch I made myself walk down to the town to buy a paper. Camera always at the ready, but not the best light for photography. A few ferries coming and going, but I wanted something different. I noticed this little stone man in a neighbour's garden - I suppose he's a Chinese mandarin, but it looks as if he holding a bat and ball!
Quote of the Day: ''Stone carving is easy – it’s the stone that’s hard.' - Ongis Mutan.
