An even better day than yesterday, I think. Not a cloud in the sky. I rather reluctantly did some more writing this morning, working my way through my first London walk and knowing I would be going out later.
I had my Covid and flu jabs organised for 2pm, so walked down to the Scout Hut behind the cathedral and rolled up my sleeves. I was very unsure about the Covid vaccinations as I'd had quite a few adverse reactions the first time and so missed last year's. I went for it after all and had them both.
I had a stroll along the beach on the way back and took this picture of the Loch Friosa, aka the 'Chugging Bathtub', coming into the harbour. Then crossed the street and walked up to Oxfam for a browse before climbing the hill. There was only one person in the shop, a lady who looked up and said 'Hello again'. How odd! Only yesterday I went up to McCaig's Tower on the way home and found a solitary lady on the viewing platform. We had a chat and she told me she was on holiday in Glasgow and had come to Oban for a few days - she was from Frankfurt. A very strange coincidence!
Photo Club tonight - a local photographer taking about sport, which I don't find very exciting, but I'd better go!
