Cold

Last night's heavy frost, and the clear sky at dawn, made for a very pretty walk in the Estate with Django. Then I got back to understanding properly how to predict when a particular algorithmic feature will be prohibitively expensive. It was very satisfying and, although the work will take longer, I've learned something, and what comes out of it will be better. 

After lunch, I spent an hour catching up with И. She's just been to India where she and her sister were the only non-Indians at a lavish multi-day wedding. She had amazing photos and experiences to share, and then I brought her up-to-date with what's been happening work-wise during her absence.

Now to cook tea and walk Django, because A is out for the evening.
