A cold and frosty morning. I caught the bus to the garage to collect the car - standing room only! I’m pleased when the buses get used, so we won’t lose the service.

At the garage, they had taken the trouble to defrost the car and warm it up for me. That made a huge difference.

On my way home, I visited the post office to send a cup and saucer I had sold on eBay. I let the buyer know that it had been posted, and that I’d noticed that she lived very near to the house where D had grown up. We messaged backwards and forwards and it turned out that D’s mum had been her first teacher. It’s a small world, after all :-)
