It begins…!

… My first Christmas card!
(In fairness, the sender is going away, so is in fact incredibly organised.
It looks so pretty I don’t care what is inside).

I also had a long catch up with another old friend earlier. One whose Mum is 101… And sharp as a tack. Bless.

And then we knuckled down to The Great Indoors, with dusters, mops and a vacuum cleaner. (It’s been a long time, owing to various things).
It’s blooming good for the soul to perform a good ‘bottoming’ (*).
And we are now well and truly ‘bottomed’!
I shall sleep well tonight.

(* Does everyone say this when they mean ‘tidied up properly and cleaned right down as far as possible’?? I.e. not just the top layer of dust!).
