They’re Back…!

… It seems only a few weeks since they went away. To my mind this is intensive yarn bombery. (Clever people).

I have been dashing about today, to post a birthday card and to buy some Euros. (Hands up all those who forgot they had to buy Euros).

In the middle of all the above I received an out of the blue text from a distant cousin. She was kindly taking out the youngest Elderly One for a posh cup of tea.
(I should add that my cousin is not exactly a spring chicken).

The text read:
‘Hi. Am out with B… and she can't remember what year she died and how old was she?. Xx

Well.
Where to start?! :-)

I don’t care. (Of course I do. I managed a diplomatic catch-all response).
Hey! It’s chip night. ALL the ironing is done. The house is sparkling. And the Euros are ordered.
I’m definitely going to sit down shortly.

And the wine forecast is red all the way.
We all know the saying, don’t we?
‘Red wine at night…
Saves the sparkling white’.
