Steamy Swim

The sun was shining today and what a difference it makes to the spirits!

Work calls first thing, lunch meeting with my photographer friend planning upcoming projects.

More work calls and emails from the car before a mad dash back home to meet my neighbour for a cinema date. She’s American and wanted to do something fun for thanksgiving so we went to see Wicked.

The first half of the film was a cross between Legally Blonde / Mean Girls / Harry Potter. Second half more akin to the original Wizard of Oz prequel story. We giggled and sang along and enjoyed seeing Jonathan Bailey (of Bridgerton fame) in his breeches and boots!

Dashed to the pool this evening and enjoyed a blissful 30 mins in the outdoor pool. Air temp 0C, water temp 20C. Absolute heaven.
