Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

WHY?

Another cold morning - even though it was facing south the hard frost on the car windscreen took a lot of removing at 10am.
This morning I met a kitchen fitter at the Rectory with another member of the congregation. We came away with some good ideas but I still haven't heard from the Diocese as to what we are required to do. Hopefully as some of the ideas this in with the Eco programme we may be able to find some grant assistance. Today I realised there are no longer any curtain rails so that's something else for the list . Nice to have supportive help though with recent experience of having a kitchen fitted.
Ali came and picked me up to go into town. She needed to take something back to JL who were not at their most helpful. We went for some late lunch in Leith with Bonnie who is finally recovering from what sounds like a chest infection.
My blip is of the flyer in Princes Street. It holds no appeal for me, I don't like getting dizzy and being dizzy up high sounds even worse. I wonder how close it really is to the Scott Monument when you are up there. It looks terrifyingly so from down below!
