For Thanksgiving at school.

It all kinda went wrong!
I discovered the gluten free choc cake mix could also be vegan if I found an egg replacer. Discovered an easy one on line with water, baking powder and oil. I was a little short on the baking powder so I put a little soda in instead. They came out very soft with a slight aftertaste due to the soda I think.
The pumpkin pie went in as normal but I forgot to turn the oven down after 15mins and the pastry caught. Then I forgot it wasn’t one large deep pie but two shallow pies that wouldn’t need as long baking! (They’re fine. I like the quicker backing time.) Then the one baking sheet popped and twisted in the oven leaving the pie lopsided so one edge nearly had any pumpkin.
And the cookies went in on the bottom on a heat that should have been too low so I left them in for longer. They came out fairly pail but crisp apart from the last four that ended up not quite burnt!!!
Never mind … I think they are all still edible! :)
