Day 2: The Oregon National Caves
We stopped by the Oregon National Caves the next day. They we very cool. 44 degrees inside to be exact! It was just beautiful outside. Lots of green everywhere and more butterflies that I've ever seen.
Before we took the tour, we were given strict instructions. No touching the walls. No backpacks, food, or water. Take only pictures, leave only footprints! During the 90 minute walk through small slippery passages and many many steep steps, we came to a "last chance exit" and Ben, my 7 yr old, had had enough. He was convince the walls were going to fall in on him and the lights could go out and we were going to get lost and.... Phil took him out on a hike in the fresh outside air! Good thing he left before they told us about the ghost stories and the Bigfoot sighting stories!!
It was a neat experience. The girls and I had a fantastic adventure!
