Blues & Whites

This is the Wainwright Bridge in Blackburn carrying a road over the railway. It was initially painted a slightly odd shade of green, but is now Blue and White, which are the colours of Blackburn Rovers Football Club. (Several senior members of the Council are season ticket holders.)

I took the Blip because the sky was also showing blue and white, and much more beautifully than the paintwork.

I havent walked across it many times over the years, but I am always a little disappointed that you can only see over the sides of the bridge if you are 7 feet tall.
