I try but I can't

I spotted this on a lamp post near Nate's school... It actually made me chuckle, so different from the usual inspirational lines around and about... And I can very much relate to this sentiment!!
Danny's had an eventful trip home (still not back, hopefully landing in Barcelona soon), delays, missed transport, new plans and routes/transport needed etc... Not ideal on a rapidly declining phone battery, plus his phone is a challenge to charge - it needs to be delicately balanced!
The kids are happy it's weekend and tree decorating time! The town lights go on tomorrow night.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Getting various house jobs done.
2) Danny being well on his way home - he'll hopefully be home by midnight.
3) Fresh bedding.
