Came home via Rutland water and stopped off at the garden centre on the lakeside. It has a great restaurant and some lovely shops. I thought I was being efficient last night and packed as much as possible, including the non chilled food. When we got home and unpacked it was obvious that we had a visitor during the night as the cocoa lid had been eaten and tiny footprints in the powder, straight in the bin.
Taking all the food up the stairs was difficult but coming down today was tricky. Hetty didn’t manage to walk down once, but got better going up.
It has been a lovely few days and an interesting place to visit but will not miss those stairs (see extra)
