Off to Paradise

We got up at 6 am and packed. 
Walked to the bank to get more cash then quick on the beach to wet our feet. 
Had coffee before we checked out and got picked up for our transfer to the island. 
The driver was a bit wild. 
We were an hour early at the port. 

The boat went at 12:30 and it was a short trip to Abraão. 

We had a little wait before our pousada boat picked us up. 
The village was busy as there was also a cruise ship in the bay. 
We arrived at our pousada 1:30 ish and moved into our room. 

It’s a quiet place and all other guests seemed unhappy people. 
No one was smiling. 
Our land lady appeared a bit later and we checked in. 
The room is basic but all is there. 
We look into the bay from our balcony. 
We decided to walk to other beach. 
I asked Andressa where the path is because it was not obvious. 

The path from our place to the next bay was adventurous!!! 
Seriously- I did not expect that. 
Proper through the rain forest with ropes to hold on and broken trees to go under or over. 

The next bay was lively. More a party place. 

We originally wanted to book there but we’re too late. 
Then we found the path to Abraåozinho.
The beach across the headland. 
It was nice and busy. A few bars and restaurants were there. 
We then decided to walk to Abraão. 
It was interesting!!! 
Part of the path was wading through the sea around some rocks!!! 
We arrived finally in Abraão. 
It was nice there. 
We somewhat regretted not having booked there. 

We walked around. Had a beer then a grilled meat skewers on the street. 

Then looked at restaurants. 
In the end we picked possibly the worst one at the beach. 

Had caipirinhas that were quite nice then I had a ok fish Moqueca and Neil had some meat. 
It was still quite early but we were tired. 

Went to the shop to get water then called the boat to get home. 

We did not last long and fell to bed around 10 pm.
