Under Inflated Tyres Are Dangerous

Is a message often flashed up on the Scottish motorway signs along with others such as ‘Belt Up In The Back’.

Is that a command to rear seat to stop talking to the driver lest he be distracted? 

Today’s entry shows my pressure gauge which I use to check tyre pressures before setting off to journey on a motorway.

I do have an electric pump to make adjustments if required. Which is very rarely.
