From the kitchen window

My friend the blacknecked pheasant is back, not a sign of the white collared bird who visited yesterday. Their paths will probably cross when they are marking out their territories in the warmer months ... 

Coffee at F's then we went to town to the cinema to watch Gladiator II.  I hadn't seen an epic film for decades, nor Gladiator, so this was something different - very noisy and bloodthirsty with thousands of people and fights but glad to have seen it!  It must have cost millions to make.
