The End of November's Chapter

Can't quite believe how fast 2024 has gone by. It's the last day of November. I've got Little Man in the bath and I'm letting him play a bit before getting him out. 

Today has been good. We had two video calls with Little Man's English family and while we were on the phone a friend from church came round to split the wood for me. If you've been following my posts over the last few days, you'll know that I've been in a bit of a fix with the wood my landlord kindly provided. It was too big for my wood stove and I ended up buying an axe in attempt to sort it out. That didn't work, and so my brother cut a few pieces up for me. I asked around in the church and one of the ladies living locally said her husband was able to come round and do it for me. He spent a few hours this morning splitting a whole crate for me (see the extra photo) and told me to let me know when I needed it to be done again. (See the extra photo for the final result).

Caleb also came round to see us after we'd had an early dinner, which was great. Little Man does enjoy seeing his uncle.

In other news, I've completely caught up with my 5 year memory book.
