Little Boxes ...
I've spent hours today trying to get some decent prints to enter in our next competition, submission deadline Monday. I just couldn't get the on screen subtle colours reproduced in my set 'golden hour' entry, and I couldn't get the right level of shadow detail in my open entry. I've used loads of paper, good job I managed to order some more on Black Friday. I've played around with the settings so much I can't remember what I normally use now. I might have to look into the possibility of getting some custom profiles, though I'm not sure if that is possible with my cheapo printer set up.
I may have another go tomorrow. If I enter the best ones I've got so far I know exactly what the judge is going to say. Oh well, it's fun.
I realised late on that I didn't have a blip. I've posted a photo of the wooden Advent Calendar that we bought in the post Christmas sales last year, half price. It's ready for action tomorrow. But not quite. It lights up nicely but we've realised the drawers are rather small so at the moment they are empty. Probably why it was in the sale. We did buy some Roses chocolates but even those are too big. Thinking caps on!
