Ho ho ho!
K&E from next door very kindly offered to help me take Dad to the high street at midday for the town’s Winter Festival. He enjoyed being out for a couple of hours, even picked up a few Christmas presents, but I found it very stressful, trying to navigate the crowds with the wheelchair. On the way back to the car we passed Santa driving the town’s minibus service, the jolliest bus driver I’ve ever come across! He even gave me a chocolate as I’d been good this year :)
Back home it was time to sort out the Advent calendars ready for tomorrow, sewing on all those little chocolates while watching White Christmas. My method was sew one, eat one! An unusually mild day of 14 degrees.
Thank you for your kind stars for yesterday’s floristry blip. The garland/swag is now hanging, but only in a temporary position. When I’ve worked out what to do with it I will share a pic.
