Marjorie's ramblings

There is no escape

Christmas is undoubtedly here!

I went to see the Christmas tree festival in Corbridge Parish Church. There are 135 trees this year because the church is 1350 years old (not this building, but Christian worship on this site)

It's a lovely display but I was disappointed that so few trees were decorated with handmade decorations. The best handmade one were said to have been made by a class of 3 -4 year olds. It must have been their parents. No way were they the work of tinies.

I apologise for my grumpiness. This gnome cheered me. I thought this was an imaginative idea.

I called at the shop to buy milk and eggs. Then I walked around "the block". It's about 2 miles and on tarmac, so very easy but much needed.

This afternoon I went to visit Margret. She was very cheerful and the haematoma on her right leg has reduced in size. She is either in bed or in a recliner chair. Mark has written and sent all her Christmas cards already.

The involuntary movements have improved too.  All good.

Margret suddenly asked me if I had lost weight whilst in Keswick. Before I could answer, she looked at me and said "No you haven't". It's a good job I am not easily offended!
