Barn Owl

I nearly didnt take the camera on the morning dog walk.... if i don't I always miss something. I would have been very cross with myself today....... so I feel I am learning my lessons!

It was a fair distance away and had just changed the settings for some poppy pictures so was amazed that this was so clear. These birds are just so wonderful to watch. Pity he didn't stick around the field a little longer. I only got this and one other shot. One day I will hopefully get to be nearer, I see him usually a couple of times a month but never seem to be in the right place at the right time.

I took this some distance from where my previous owl shot was taken so I don't think they are the same bird.
