Memorial

Alex Salmond's Memorial Service in St Giles today - St Andrew's Day -  included this portrait mounted near the West door so that everyone would pass it on their way in and ,if they weren't doing so already, reflect on their own remembrances of him.

This journal of mine has featured him several times over the years of course and many, many people will have their own recollections to add to the those  shared today.  

When we all left just after 12.00, there was a crowd of YES supporters at barriers across the Royal Mile.   A picture of that is my extra photo.
