MAKING MONEY

We had our church fair today…lots of work, planning and preparation. The primary school choir came in to sing. They were fabulous. However the plan had been to sing for 30 mins and then we could capture the parents for 30 mins afterwards until the school fair opened at 12, but they sang until 11:50 and then the church emptied!!!
Our foot fall was low but we still made £1,500 (only slightly down). My tombola didn’t sell out so I have gifts left over and unfortunately The Rev didn’t sell any photographs. However it was an enjoyable event that brought people into the church and that’s the main point of it.
Afterwards The Rev and I painted a room at the new house. (the only one that won’t be knocked about!!!)
