PRAGUE…LAST DAY :(

Well we thought it was our last day!!!!!

We didn’t have to leave our apartment until 11…so we had a slow start and packed. Linda and I took a cab with the cases to the sister hotel. When we got there we found out the cab hadn’t been paid for and we had no money!!!! We thought he was going to take us back but he just drove off…hence the police shot…we thought they’d put a “bounty on our heads”
#we had a very sugar based brunch under the biggest chandelier ever…stunning.
We then took at walk to the Illusion Art Museum.
###…it was very funny, lots of photo opportunities and the staff were so happy. I took loads but these 3 were my favourite.
We had a stroll around a smaller Christmas market and then found somewhere for an early dinner. The Rev really wanted a pork knuckle…he was disappointed!!
# I wasn’t … with my goulash in a bread roll.
The day had been punctuated with more warm wine but …
# now we were onto hot chocolate and Irish coffees as we watched the Christmas market open up and the final lights put on the tree. (Apparently there are still 100 baubles to go on!) 3 days work!!!

Then chaos…..

6:30 taxi to airport
9pm on plane…but mechanical issue.
11pm informed plane was now fixed but Heathrow wouldn’t let us land!!
Midnight…unloaded, collect luggage, scrabble for taxis and hotel rooms in a very busy city!!
1am…get to hotel…no room service…really hungry and dehydrated (which is particularly dangerous for The Rev!!)
