CHRISTMAS IS COMING

Another poor nights sleep. Got up for a while during the night hoping to settle when I went back to bed... and it worked.  Finally surfaced properly at around 3.30pm.  Already getting dark - so that was the daylight gone without me in it.  Never mind.  At least I had some energy to do the ironing.

Watched the 2009 film Nativity while I was ironing.  Its the first in the series of Nativity films.  Seen it before but it was worth watching again. Apparently there was only a basic script for the film and for the rest of the time  the cast - including all the children - had to make it up as they went along. There was 100 hrs of footage originally which was whittled down to 1hr 45mins. 

My new Christmas tree was delivered yesterday. I have two very large ones already  but I decided I wanted a small one this year.  I had also ordered, from somewhere else, this trio of handmade Christmas decorations.  Ive put them on the tree temporarily until I get my proper tree decorations out.

Luna had a belated birthday party today at her house. Three other golden retrievers were guests.  Lots of doggy treats including a birthday cake.  ( doggy friendly of course ).  All the dogs played in the garden and trod mud everywhere ... but they had fun.  One of the guests - Lola ( Neils friends Goldie ) is staying for a sleepover.  They will be up at the crack of dawn causing mayhem as this usefully happens when Lola stays over.
